Clarissa Savoy began playing the piano at the age of 5. She began her musical career taking piano lessons. During her musical journey, she has encountered music teachers as well as various musicians that have influenced her journey for now over 30 years. Clarissa is a graduate of the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas. During this timeframe, she was an original member of the Grammy award winning God's Property Choir out of Dallas, Texas.
She is a masterful pianist and has years of experience serving in ministry. She spent 7 years in ministry at Union Missionary Baptist Church. Soon afterwards, she served 13 years at Friendshipwest Baptist Church.
Clarissa Savoy received her Bachelor's degree from Prairie View A&M University in Math Education and a minor in Music. While at Prairie View A&M University, Clarissa was a musician for the on campus ALL-Faiths Johnson Chapel and award winning BSM (Baptist Student Movement) gospel choir. Clarissa toured all over the US with the university school choir. She relocated back to the DFW area and continued school and earned a Master's degree in Strategic Leadership. Two years later she earned a Master's degree in Counseling. Clarissa has over 20 years of experience as an educator. With her experience in education combined with youth ministry, she has a heart to serve and help youth reach and maximize their full potential.

She is currently a member of AudacityDFW; an ALL Female Cover Band in Dallas,Texas. Clarissa is married with 2 young children that bring a smile to her face everyday.
Clarissa Savoy teaches private piano with theory. As a teacher, her focus is on teaching a solid foundation for beginning students (children and adults). She embraces the opportunity to pay it forward and give back by molding musical minds and teaching future musicians.
